Athlete Terms of Use

Your coach is responsible for your programming, guidance, pricing, and the coaching services you receive. Overlode provides the tools your coach uses to deliver them and the payment rails for what you pay your coach. Overlode does not coach you, does not set your program, and is not a party to your agreement with your coach. Questions about your training, plan, or charges should go to your coach.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the app on your own. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and your coach must have obtained any consent required by law before collecting your data.

Strength training and exercise involve inherent risks, including injury. The app and its content are for general fitness purposes and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified physician before beginning or changing any exercise or nutrition program, and stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or other warning signs.

You are responsible for exercising within your own limits and for your own safety. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume the risks of training, and your coaching and any waivers or health screening are matters between you and your coach.

You agree to provide accurate information, including in any intake questionnaire, and to keep your sign-in secure. Your coach controls the data you provide through the app and decides how it is used; Overlode processes it on your coach’s behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy. To access, correct, or delete your data, contact your coach; you may also reach us at privacy@getoverlode.com and we will route your request.

If you pay for coaching, payments are processed by Stripe on your coach’s connected account; your coach is the merchant. Pricing, billing schedule, cancellations, and refunds are set by your coach and are between you and your coach. Overlode provides the software that connects you to your coach’s Stripe account — it is not a bank or payment processor, does not hold your funds, and is not responsible for your coach’s pricing or refund decisions. Your card details are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s terms; Overlode does not store full card numbers.

Use the app only for its intended purpose. Do not misuse it, attempt to access others’ data, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use it to harass anyone. Messaging features are for communicating with your coach.

Overlode owns the app and platform. Your coach’s programming and content belong to your coach. Content you submit remains yours, and you grant the limited licenses needed to operate the app and deliver it to your coach.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OVERLODE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR INJURY OR LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR TRAINING OR YOUR COACHING RELATIONSHIP, WHICH IS BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR COACH. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You may stop using the app at any time. Access may end if your coaching relationship ends or if you misuse the app. Some provisions survive termination by their nature.
